As audience members enter into the installation container, they are invited to digitally paint (map) onto one another, to create compositions of colour and animated pattern, resulting in a video portrait.

The content, drawn on to wireless tablets and then projected onto the attendees, is shared on social media #digitalskinlive. It is through these digital communication channels that the artists’ reach is expanded globally, that the story is told in boundless exchange, beyond old confines of a smaller, more localized audience. This interactive station would introduce attendees to a ‘light version’ of  Digital Skin, giving them the opportunity to explore the (proprietary) software and to experience first hand, the art and technique of digital painting and portraiture.
